You are welcome to visit Seterli base camp and experience how it is to live next to 14 Alaskan malamutes - mostly quiet with some talking. Noisy when it's feeding time and very noisy when we go for a training. Several times a day possible to experience all pack howling together.

We are living in this region for 2 years. We can suggest when it is better to visit us according to activities you want to experience.

  • November - March --- Time to experience Northern lights, winter and dog sledding. We have snow on the ground for 6 month.
  • April --- Warm and light period compare to winter. Still snow on the ground and we can do sledding with dogs.
  • May --- Snow is melting and we can experience lot of water in steams, rivers.
  • June - August - Best hiking season. Can experience midnight sun. July can be very hot.
  • September - October --- Beautiful autumn. September usually is still warm and great for hiking.

We are speaking in English and Latvian.

In the guest house on the second floor we are offering 2 rooms and small hallway for 2 guests to stay overnight. This place is just for you. Both rooms is possible to lock from inside and outside. On the first floor we have shared bathroom. No other guests are staying overnight in this house, so you would need to share bathroom just during the day when some base camp visitors could come for a short time visit.

On the first floor is located sweater art gallery, shared bathroom with base camp visitors. Next to the house is located dog yards where 14 Alaskan malamutes lives.

In the guest house we don't have kitchen and washing machine. You are welcome to use fire place outside the house. We provide firewood. We can offer microwave and possibility to wash clothes in our private house. Laundry room is separated from our private area.

The price for 2 rooms is 800 NOK per a night. Bed linen are included. We have Wi-Fi. For longer then 3 days stay we offer discounts. Please contact Linda via Facebook or Instagram and we will answer all your questions.
